iRepair & iCustomize
iRepair & iCustomize is an iPhone-centric company based out of Kent, Ohio, brought into fruition by John and Chase Speegle. Keiran, John's daughter had dropped her precious iPhone 4 and shattered her screen (twice). Having no insurance on the iPhone and Apple charging $169 to replace the screen, John decided to do it himself. After repairing a few others for friends and family, John and Chase seen a real need for iPhone repair services in the area.
After opening in January of 2012, iRepair & iCustomize has replaced over 500 screens in the Kent and Akron area. Their latest iPhone in desperate need of repair came in from Switzerland! Not only do they repair iPhone screens, but they can also replace cameras, dock connectors, headphone jacks... everything or anything iPhone. But, they didn't stop at repair. They also customize iPhones. Yep. They will Pimp your iPhone at iRepair & iCustomize! iRepair & iCustomize does color conversions for the iPhone 4 and 4S for any carrier, so there is no need to stick to the boring, factory white-or-black iPhones! Chase's iPhone 4S is full metallic blue, with a white gold plated bezel, sporting a matching silver home button, while John's iPhone has a full metallic gold front, with 24kt plated yellow gold bezel, and full plated "24kt Gold Edtion" back plate. Basically, if you're an Apple whore like Chase and John and wish you make your iPhone breakfast each morning, then iRepair & iCustomize is definitely a shop you should keep in mind! They help you differentiate your same-old, stock white-or-black iPhone to something that will really stand out! And if you get drunk at a Kent or Akron bar and drop it on the concrete patio while slamming Starry Night shots (don't ask me how I would know anything about that) and shatter your beautiful screen, don't cut your pointer finger and thumbs up because you can't stop texting and playing "Cut the Rope," "Temple Run," or "Draw Something."
